My journey into beauty started when I was a little girl, I grew up watching my nonna, before stepping out to the market, always stopping at the mirror. She’d put on her red lipstick, even in her most humble clothes. She taught me that beauty wasn’t about excess, it was about presence. Confidence. A simple mascara and lipstick can be enough to bring out what is already there.
This dream stayed with me. Life took me across countries, through motherhood, and into the depths of an industry I loved but knew needed change. After working for 2 decades in tourism, I became a trained makeup artist, working with big international brands. But when I became pregnant, I saw makeup differently. I realised that everything we put on our skin goes through our body. And I refused to compromise.
I started thinking about Earthy Makeup back in 2020, in the middle of the pandemic. With masks covering our faces, something incredible happened, we were forced to truly look into each other’s eyes. And in those moments, I saw everything. Strength. Sadness. Joy. The raw beauty we so often overlook.
And it is precisely from those roots that the choice to produce in Italy was born. Even though I have lived abroad for many years, Italy is my inner home: the place from which everything started, the heart of my vision of beauty. Relying on Italian quality and craftsmanship is not just a production choice, it is a return. A way to honor my origins and bring to the world an authentic, clean beauty that is deeply connected to my history
